Calprotectin ist ein Protein von Abwehrzellen, der neutrophilen Granulozyten. Es gilt als Marker für die Einwanderung von Granulozyten ins Darminnere. Der Calprotectinwert ist während einer Entzündung der Darmschleimhaut erhöht.
